In celebration of Programmers' Day, Wakapi hosted the second edition of the Wakapi Inspiration Summit, a unique event for sharing insights, trends, and knowledge within the tech world. The summit brought together 75 professionals at Wakapi's headquarters in Mendoza, Argentina, all eager to dive deep into the future of software development, with a special focus on AI and app development.

Maxi Firtman, a renowned systems expert and tech consultant, was the featured speaker. He emphasized the growing importance of integrating AI into daily workflows and debunked common myths about AI, saying: "There's a misconception that when you chat with ChatGPT, you're actively training the model. This is false. The model itself is a static file, a 'box,' that’s already been created. In fact, it takes several months and hundreds of millions of dollars to develop. So, no, it’s not being trained in real-time.

However, according to the terms and conditions, what you say to ChatGPT could potentially be used in the future to improve training models. Essentially, your conversations might be monitored to understand user behavior and refine future training. This raised concerns, particularly for developers working with sensitive data, as they might unknowingly copy and paste code that could be private.”

Participants were not only inspired by Firtman’s thought-provoking talk but also had the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals.
